Today, Wendy works as an avalanche forecaster for Whitewater Ski Resort, managing avalanche risk on the hill, and with Avalanche Canada, contributing to public forecasts that support backcountry users across the region.

GUEST PANEL: WHAT’S IN YOUR PACK?

A local panel discussion featuring four Nelson-based backcountry users with diverse experience in Search & Rescue, emergency medicine, snowmobiling, and avalanche education. The panel will explore how different backgrounds shape what people carry, how they pack, and how they prepare for a day in the backcountry.
