Dear SOTS Family, Each of us loves the mountains. It’s why we at SOTS do what we do ~ because we care deeply about empowering all who wish to play in the snowy backcountry to be able to come home at the end of the day. But right now, we, the SOTS team and you, our SOTS community & family, are grieving profound loss. The recent avalanche incident at Stellar Heli Ski that claimed the lives of Jason Remple, Jeff Keenan and Alex Pashley has hit the entire backcountry community hard. Our hearts are with their families. Our hearts are also with Clay Mitchell, the lone survivor, whose road to recovery has only just begun. We honour them by acknowledging their loss, by coming together as a community to support one another, by sharing support and resources of support.
