Every SOTS chapter is shaped by its local mountain community. Local volunteers bring people together, while local avalanche and backcountry professionals lead conversations about the snowpack, conditions and the experiences that matter where they live and recreate.

Events are free, welcoming and open to everyone—from people just getting started in the backcountry to experienced skiers, snowboarders, splitboarders, snowmobilers, guides and professionals.
