  • Revelstoke Event Coordinator

Taylor is the Town Operations Manager for CAPOW Guiding. With years of experience working at backcountry lodges, coaching skiing, and being a camp counselor, they’ve developed the skills required to help turn guests’ backcountry ski dreams into reality. Originally from Vernon, BC, Taylor now calls Revelstoke home - and can often be spotted enthusiastically waving at friends while biking around town.

  • Revelstoke Livestream Producer

Jamie grew up skiing the backcountry of Colorado and never really stopped chasing snow, stone, or swell. He’s worked as a climbing instructor, ski instructor, and dogsled photographer, and now builds software wherever the Wi-Fi and adventure line up. When he’s not coding, he’s splitting time between surfing, skiing, and climbingβ€”always on the hunt for the next good stash, fun pitch, or glassy wave.

  • CAA 2/ ACMG APPRENTICE SKI GUIDE

Ben Yeager is an ACMG Apprentice Ski Guide based in Revelstoke, BC. After cutting his teeth in Fernie, BC, and working as a ski patroller at Castle Mountain Resort, he relocated to Revelstoke, where he's honed his skills as a ski guide at Monashee Powder Snowcats, CMH Revelstoke and CAPOW Guiding.  Whenever Ben isn't working, he's getting after it in the surrounding area.

  • CAA 3/ACMG Ski Guide

Danyelle Magnan works as Mountain Safety Manager in Glacier National Park. The transportation corridor through Roger’s Pass is known to be one of the most complex and challenging avalanche control programs in the world. Danyelle oversees a team of avalanche forecasters and visitor safety specialists, who work with highway operators and the Canadian Armed Forces to implement the avalanche control program. She has a BSc in environmental sciences, is an ACMG ski guide with extensive experience in remote backcountry rescue and avalanche forecasting, and has been working with the avalanche control section in Glacier National Park since 2010.

  • CAA 2/ACMG Ski Guide and Hiking Guide and Apprentice Rock Guide.

Madeleine Martin-Preney is an ACMG Ski Guide, Hiking Guide and Apprentice Rock Guide. Madeleine grew up in the Selkirk Mountains in Nelson, BC, before moving to Revelstoke in 2009. She has been part of many big adventures such as a kayak/ski trip from the Gulf Islands to the Whitemantle Range, and she was part of the first team ever to complete the full ski traverse of the Selkirk Mountains (520+km and 43,000+m elevation gain). She also has experience skiing in the mountains in India, Antarctica, Europe, Andes, and many remote parts of Canada.

Madeleine’s strengths shine through when she's instructing, which she has developed from many years teaching avalanche and ski touring courses, trips for Outward Bound, youth education for Avalanche Canada, becoming certified as a Yoga Teacher, a Life Coach, and instructor for the ACMG Training and Assessment Program (TAP).

  • CMBGA Level 3 Lead Guide / CAA Avalanche Professional

Someone once told Shena that you can't make a living riding a snowmobile and she's the kind of person who says, "challenge accepted".  Fast forward a decade and Shena is synonymous with Shenanigans in the snowmobile world. She shares her passion of the sport in every way she has found possible from teaching Motorized AST courses, to guiding, and hosting women's riding clinics. When she isn't exploring her backyard of Revelstoke BC, she spends some of her spare time organizing recreational snowmobile events that raise avalanche education and back country preparedness awareness for recreational sledders.
