Bryce Anderson CAA Level 2 PRO | Avalanche Educator
Bryce is a longtime Whistler–Pemberton local with deep experience across avalanche safety, mitigation, and education. From mining and transportation projects to recreational forecasting, Bryce currently serves as lead avalanche forecaster for the Powder Mountain Snowmobile Club’s grooming operations in the Brandywine. An AST and CAA instructor and Whistler SAR volunteer, Bryce brings a unique, cross-disciplinary perspective on traveling safely through avalanche terrain.

Chris Lawrence ACMG & IFMGA Mountain Guide | CAA PRO
With four decades dedicated to mountain life, Chris has worked across nearly every corner of the guiding and safety world — from ski patrol and heli-skiing to alpine climbing, rescue, and expedition work around the globe. Based in Squamish for 27 years, Chris will share lessons learned, reflecting on experience, perspective, and decision-making over a lifetime in the mountains.

Community Conversations Saving Lives In The Backcountry. State of the Snowpacks is a Canadian Non-Profit organization, that works to break barriers to backcountry and avalanche information by having avalanche professionals engage with their local backcountry community - providing local avalanche and backcountry conditions. SOTS Chapters and events span from the West Coast to the East Coast of Canada.
