State of the Snowpack Revelstoke - Jan 9, 2026

State of the Snowpack is proud to be part of the ACC Columbia Mountains Split//Ski Festival this weekend in Revelstoke — a celebration of stewardship, safety, and stoke in the ski touring and splitboarding community. Friday Jan 9th, 2026: Community Night @ Revelstoke Legion

Join us for an evening of connection, food, and conversation featuring presentations from Dylan Murray, Mark Smiley, and a State of the Snowpack snowpack update presented by Ben Yeager. Can’t make it in person? The SOTS portion of the evening will be livestreamed, so the broader backcountry community can tune in.

Huge thanks to ACC Columbia Mountains, Tourism Revelstoke, and Arc’teryx for making this event possible.

Ticketed — proceeds support the Craig Kelly Memorial Scholarship Fund & Entry into the door prize draw

Snowpack Presenter: Ben Yeager (CAA Level 2 / ACMG Apprentice Ski Guide) Ben cut his teeth in Fernie and Castle Mountain before moving to Revelstoke to guide with Monashee Powder Snowcats, CMH, and CAPOW. When he’s not working, he’s out exploring the Selkirks and Monashees.
