SOTS Golden - 2026/27 event dates
Golden, get ready! SOTS Events are back for another winter season!
Hosted by Lisa Roddick, CAA level 3, AvSAR instructor with CAA and KHMR Ski Patroller and her team of dedicated volunteers, the events will take place at Whitetooth Brewing Co for the 2026/27 winter.
The Golden crew of avalanche professionals from Kicking Horse Mountain Ski Patrol and Kicking Horse Mountain Resort have been working tirelessly to bring four FREE events of snowpack talk to the local backcountry community.
Join your community at the Whitetooth Brewing Co for four evenings:
> Starting at 7 to 8 PM MST
December 14th, 2026
January 11th, 2027
February 8th, 2027
March 8th, 2027
These events are your chance to connect with your local backcountry community and learn more about local conditions from the people who know them best. Whether you’re an experienced backcountry user or are just getting started, these events are an opportunity to deepen your knowledge on local conditions.
